Vehicle Servicing

GR Automotive is fully equipped and qualified to carry out all aspects of servicing on your vehicle. We offer the most convenient way of being able to get your vehicle serviced right outside your door. It's also allowing you to reduce your costs, by using us compared to the high cost of a main dealer service.

Interim Service - from £99*

Our interim car service will include a vehicle inspection to make sure everything is as it should be. This will involve visually checking the following:

Tyre condition, wear and pressure
Brakes
Steering and Suspension components
Driveline components
Exhaust system
Exterior lights
Washers and wipers
Battery Test
Engine oil, oil filter & sump plug washer replacement
Engine bay components
Screenwash top-up
Service light reset
Stamp service book/upload digital record on manufacturer's database

*This includes 5L of engine oil. Vehicles that require more than 5L of oil will incur an additional fee for the extra oil.

Full Service - from £199-£240

Our full service will include a vehicle inspection & adjustments to make sure everything is as it should be. This will involve visually checking & adjusting the following:

Tyre condition, wear and pressure
Removing all wheels & cleaning/greasing of the hubs
Brakes - cleaned & adjusted
Testing brake/clutch fluid for water content
Steering and Suspension components
Driveline components
Exhaust system
Exterior lights
Washers and wipers
Battery Test with print-out
Diagnostic check with print-out
Engine bay components
Screenwash top-up
Coolant top-up and pressure tested
Engine oil, oil filter & sump plug washer replacement
Air filter replacement
Fuel filter replacement
Pollen filter replacement
Spark plugs replacement
Service light reset
Stamp service book/upload digital record on manufacturer's database

All of the above is included for £240. Most garages will not include replacing fuel filter & spark plugs within their service, so it's important when comparing service prices to check what is included within your service. If you don't want to include the fuel filter & spark plugs replacement in your service, the price will reduce to £199.

What happens if you find a problem during my service?

If we find any components or parts during your service that require replacing, we will make you aware and give you the options. These options are:

If a local parts supplier has parts in stock & we have the availability in our schedule, we can carry out the necessary repairs during your appointment.
If there isn't a local parts supplier or the parts aren't in stock, we can order the parts & can then schedule you an appointment when it's convenient for you.
If we don't have the availability in our schedule for the day, we can offer you our next available appointment.

All additional repairs will be quoted and discussed with you beforehand. No additional repairs will be carried out before your approval.
